News and Recent Events In April 2003, we had dinner with John Gould, English teacher at Andover, who spoke about Anthony Powell and teaching using the internet. In June 2003, we co-sponsored a foreign policy presentation at Canning House where Sir Terrance Clark, former British Ambassador to Iraq and Charlie Sennott, European Bureau Chief of the Boston Globe spoke about developments in the Middle East, particularly Iraq. On October 16, 2003, Gerrit Keator, PA '57 and Leadership Gifts Officer, held a breakfast meeting in London. On November 19, 2003, Peter Ramsey, Secretary of the Academy, spoke to alumni in London.
On February 5, 2004 we held alumni drinks for the classes of 1983 through 2003
at a bar in Soho. Thanks to Serge Yokoyama for organizing.
On March 19, 2004, Jeff and Kate Hedges hosted a dinner for Deputy Head of
School Becky Sykes, her husband English teacher Elwin Sykes and Senior
Development Officer Barbara Gross.
